Stobor powers Open Source Technologies

Stobor makes use of many Open Source technologies in order to provide the various services it offers. In return, we contribute back to various projects, to improve the pool of technology available for everyone.

Here are some products we've used and liked, and some contributions we're offering back to the community:

• The Mathopd HTTP Server is a small, fast HTTP/1.1 server. We offer some Patches for the Mathopd HTTP Server.
• We use various Linux distributions, including CentOS, Debian, and recommend Kubuntu for people who are starting out with Linux.
• The Player Project is a robotics research system. It includes a robot control interface called Player, and two multi-robot simulators called Stage and Gazebo.
• We use VirtualBox OSE for running virtual machines. Here are some tips on using VirtualBox.
